Nicaraguens Cichlid

(Grows to- 6")(How many?- singles or groups as juveniles, singles as adults.) A moderately aggressive cichlid from South America.   Males will mature into a  bright orange body and blue head. Females will maintain juvenile  tan color with black horizontal line through center of body.  Feed a variety of flake and frozen foods such as Hikari Cichlid pellets and frozen Spirulina Enriched  Brine Shrimp. (Cichlasoma nicaraguense)
