Festae Cichlid  (Cichlasoma festae)

*  Hobbyist Level: Beginner

*  Adult Size: 8"

* How Many:  You can purchase these in singles or groups of similar size.

*  Housing:   Provide rocks and hiding spots   (Temp  72-80  pH 6.8-7.5)

* Tankmates:  An aggressive cichlid from South America, looks similar to a Red Terror except as the Festae matures it will gain more red coloration Keep them with other cichlids of similar size.  Some good tankmates may include Oscars, firemouths, jack dempseys.

*  Feeding:  Cichlid pellets or flakes.

* Native Range:  South America
