The Aqueon Starter aquarium kit is an economy beginner set that provides a cost efficient way to be introduced to the hobby of aquarium keeping.

Box Set Includes:
* Tank
* Hood & LED light
* Filter & media
* Heater & thermometer
* Fish food
* Net
* Water conditioner
Recommended items (sold separately):
* Biological starter - stability, fritzzyme, or cycle
* Aquarium substrate (1lb/gal)
* pH & ammonia test kits
* Siphon tube for partial water changes
* Background
* Decorations
* Air pump, tubing, biological sponge filter, valve.
Stock a new tank slowly:
* Be sure to add a water conditioner and biological starter first.
* Fish should be added slowly to new systems. Add a few fish 1 - 3 days after you set up the tank. In 2 weeks you can add another batch, depending on tank size.
