White Cloud (Petrocephalus bovie)
This is one of our favorite fish for beginners. Adapted to life in cool mountain streams they do not require heaters. They are peaceful active and hardy. They can even be kept outdoors from late spring to early fall.
* Hobbyist Level- Beginners, one of the most hardy fish we sell.
* Adult Size- 1.5"
* Keep in groups of 3 or more. They look great in groups of 6 or more.
* Temperature- 50-80
* Tank Size- 6 gal and up. They are a good choice for small aquariums without heaters.
* Feeding- will accept a wide variety of foods. Use soft flakes. An omnivore.
* Breeding- adult males have a longer and more colorful dorsal fin. One of the easiest egglayers to breed.
