Tiger Sand Snail

(Size: 3") (Reef Safe?- yes) A wonderful sand sifting snail, very active and are often seen plowing through the sandbed feeding on detritus, diatoms and slimes. If keeping with hermit crabs, be sure to provide plenty of extra shells so that they do not attack the peaceful conch in order to take over their shell.   (Babylonia areolata)
