Red Coris Wrasse

(Grows to: 7")(Reef? No) These wrasses can be delicate and should not be added to a tank with overly aggressive tankmates.  They will burrow in the substrate for protection and to sleep so provide a 3-4" sandbed.  Generally, they will not bother coral but will eat crabs, snails, lobsters, shrimp and may nip at clams.  Color pattern is orange/red with 5 large white spots as juveniles and  pink/red with small blue dots and a yellow tail as adults. Feed meaty items such as brine/mysis shrimp as well as frozen preparations for carnivores.  (Coris gaimard)
