(Beginners?- yes)(Grows to- 20")(Temp- 70-80) A hardy scavenger that helps eat algae from tank, Suitable in most community tanks.  Armored plates protect it from aggressive fish.   Feed flakes, small pellets with some algae wafers. Not suitable for smaller tanks (Hypostomus plecostomus)
