Odessa Barb

(Beginners?- yes)(Grows to -2.5")(Temp- 60-76 Tolerant of cooler water)(How many?- best in groups of 5 or more.)  Sleek bodied Barb will develop bright red line through body as they grow.  Mixes well with other active fish such as larger Tetras, Sharks and Silver Dollars.  Feed  flakes and a variety of foods such as Tetra Colorbits and Hikari frozen Bloodworms.  ( Puntius padamya)

Males and Females:  Males are slimmer, have darker black spots on their dorsal fin, yellow fins and a bright red line down their body.  Adult females are fatter and have duller coloration.
