General: A bottom dwelling brackish water fish.
How Many?- kept as singles, or groups if tank is big enough. They can be territorial.
Housing: Prefers some sea salt in water, but the are adaptable to a range of conditions. One or two teaspoons of salt per gallon is advised. Temperature 70-80. pH- slightly alkaline. Keep some rocks on bottom for hiding.
Tank mates: keep with fish of similar size. Some other brackish water fish such as large mollies, archers, puffers, and gobies may work.
