This is an impressive fish with deeply sloping forehead and laterally compressed body. Some variants possess fluorescent yellow from posterior to the tip of the snout. Grows to 4-6", with males being larger. Somewhat peaceful and shy, but may chase smaller fish. Supply caves for breeding and retreat.
