Christmas Moss

A very adaptable moss that is native to Southeast Asia.   It is typicaly used in planted tanks and will attach to driftwood or a rock over time.  It is undemanding and will grow in a variety of lighting conditions.  Will accept brackish water or standard water conditions.  . It is especially popular among aquarists raising fry (baby fish) and tadpoles, to protect them from cannibalistic adults. Java moss can also provide food for the newly formed fry, which can be challenging to feed.
