California Brown Sea Hare

(Grows to: 6")(Reef Safe ?-Yes) Commonly called sea slugs, they  will consume almost any type of algae, including hair algae.  They can strip a tank of algae in an impressive amount of time and will often require supplemental feeding at that point.  A tropical species that is suitable for tropical tanks. They may secret a toxin if attacked by tankmakes so keep only with peaceful tankmates and always run fresh carbon in filters. (Aplysia californica )
