Saltwater with Sump Filter Product Checklist
Would you like to put together your own marine system with a sump system below the tank. The list below shows and aquarium with a built-in overflow drain. The drain allows water to flow down via gravity to a sump filter below the tank, The sump below the tank allows for mechanical and chemical filtration. It can house a premium protein skimmer which is very important for a successful reef tank. The sump will also house a water pump and the heater. A reservoir of water below your aquarium provides more stability and keeps the water level in the display tank the same all of the time.
