Black Racer Nerite Snail

(Beginners?- yes)(Grows to - 1")  (Temp- 70-80) One of the best algae eating snails.  They will not eat plants, and unlike some other snails they will not reproduce in freshwater.  You may have to supplement with algae waffers if there is not a lot of algae growth in the tank.  In nature they live in brackish water, but will adapt to freshwater.
