- As a retail store there are many items we sell that are not practical for us to ship. We simply do not have a dedicated shipping department to crate aquariums and stands. We ask you to pick these items up in our store. We also provide local delivery and installation of aquariums.
- We do not ship:
* Tanks, Stands, Lights, Bulbs
* Gravel and Bulky items
* Frozen or Live Foods
* Outside of U.S.
|• Order Processing|
Orders are typically filled and shipped within 1 business day of receipt. (Monday through Friday) Due to stock shortages, some items may be back ordered and ship at a later date. We will notify you by e-mail if the entire order does not ship at the same time. Prior to back ordering an item or partial shipping an order Elmer's Aquarium will either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
|• Order Cancellation|
Elmer's Aquarium's web site does not offer on-line order cancellation. To cancel an order, please E-mail Us at email@example.com within 24 business hours of placing your order. Our shipping manager Sandy Abercrombie will reply to your e-mail inquiries.
|• Order Status|

Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment (including gifts), you may return any item, for a full refund (we'll also refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error): Items are not returnable if they are in un-sellable condition, or are missing parts.
We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
Packing and Sending Your Return
It only takes a few simple steps:
- Pack the items along with the packing slip (receipt) securely in a box. We recommend you can use the original box the items arrived in. You may use another box if you prefer.
- Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box. Ship items directly to our store. The store address can be found on our web site or on the original packing slip (receipt).
- Leave the package for your mail carrier to pick up.
|• Payment Processing|
All payments are in advance and by credit card. If the entire order is not shipped we will credit your credit card for the appropriate amount.
What Personal Information About Customers Does Elmer's Aquarium Gather?
Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, however, some information is necessary to processing your order. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our store, and communicating with you.
Does Elmer's Aquarium Share the Information It Receives?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we do not share it with to others. We share customer information only with the business partners as described below:
Agents: We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
Protection of Elmer's Aquarium and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Elmer's Aquarium, our users, or others. How Secure Is Information About Me?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
We reveal only the last digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card processor.
